I'm looking for three outfitters to build this with.
For outfitters who sell hunts in the draw states. A new website with the contract, the deposit, the draw follow-up and a page for every hunter built in, and run for you, at a founding price. In return, I get to show the result.
The brochure is fine. After the call, it's phone, email and fine print.
I read 394 outfitter websites in October 2026, all association members in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado.
| The site… | Share | Bar from 0 to 100 percent |
|---|---|---|
| Works on a phone | 92% | |
| Shows a price | 67% | |
| Says anything about a deposit | 49% | |
| Lets a hunter sign or pay online | 5% |
Sample: the 394 sites that loaded, from the Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado outfitter associations. Price and deposit shares are of the 325 sites where inner pages could be read. Rounded; a script misses prices in PDFs and images, so prices and deposits are a minimum. I read each site the way a phone would. Method on request.
Your new site, and the part after the call
Amber marks a step tied to a date.
A new website, on your own address
Your hunts, rates and terms, quick on a phone, and you change prices and photos yourself. Your old pages point to the new ones.
- Tied to a date
Contract, deposit and balance
Signed online the same day, the deposit into your own account, and reminders for the balance on your schedule.
- Tied to a date
"Did you draw?" on draw results day
To every hunter booked for that state, and your rule (confirm, roll over, refund) set off by their answer.
A page for each hunter
Travel, gear, license steps, what they may bring home, your taxidermist and processor.
After the hunt
Photos, a review request, and a rebooking window before your dates go to shows and agents.
Hosting, fixes and a person who answers
Kept running, all year.
What I'd need from you: about an hour on the phone at the start, your terms, the photos you already have, and your honest feedback after the first booking.
The founding terms, in writing
Prices are shown, with what they include.
Price. Setup is USD 2,800, once: the new website, the contract and deposit set up, and your draw calendar. Keeping it running is USD 99 a month from the day it goes live: hosting, fixes, the draw-day messages and a person who answers. The booking tool has its own subscription, paid by you straight to its maker. I'll give you the exact figure before you decide.
What's yours. The domain, the payments account and your client list are yours from day one. If you leave, I hand over the site's files and your content.
Stopping. You can stop at the end of any month. After you stop, I keep the site up for 60 days while you move it.
In return. I can show the site and a few of your words, and I'll call you after your first season. If you'd rather not be named, we talk.
Spots. Three. When they're gone, the price is the regular one.
Offered by Pele, Colonia, Uruguay.
I'm Pele.
I live in Colonia, Uruguay, in cattle country, and I build every site myself. I read 394 outfitter sites before writing to anyone.
I won't call you during rifle season. I'll write now and talk after it closes, in late November or December.
I haven't built an outfitter's site yet. That is what this page is for. What I have built, for people who also sell something expensive to strangers:
| Business | What it does | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Luciérnagas Maine Coons | A cattery in Uruguay: waiting list and a page for every litter. | Live |
| Outfitters | None yet. That is what this page is for. | None |
Questions outfitters ask
My site works. Why a new one?
It may. Most outfitter sites read fine. But the contract, the deposit and the draw need to sit on pages I build and keep running, not stitched onto a site I didn't make. Your address stays the same, and the old pages point to the new ones.
What happens to a deposit if my hunter doesn't draw?
That is your rule, not mine. I set up the one you use and write it in plain words on the contract.
Do my hunters have to book online?
No. Most will still call first. The call stays; everything after it moves off the phone.
Who owns the site and the money?
You do. The domain is in your name, the deposit goes to your account and never through mine, and if you leave I hand over the files.
Send me your website address.
I'll read it and write back within two business days with what I'd change. No pitch, no charge.
Prefer to talk? Write to pele@galponco.com and we'll set a 15-minute call for late November, after rifle season.
